Tamil Nadu board class 12 results declared: Here is how you can check score

The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary education oon Wednesday (May 16) announced the class 12th results. The Candidates who appeared for the TN HSC or Tamil Nadu class 12th examinations can check their results on the official website of the board. The examinations were held from March 3 to April 6, 2018.

The TN HSC +2 Result pass percentage was 91.1 per cent. Virudhnagar district topped with 97% pass percentage among all districts.

Meanwhile, girls continued to outshine boys, with 94.1 per cent pass percentage, which was 6.4 percentage points more than the number for boys, according to statistics released by the state government, PTI reported.

Subject-wise, Physics topped the list with 96.4 per cent of the students clearing the subject, followed by Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics at second, third and the fourth spot.

As many as 2,602 had appeared for the examination, out of which 2,110 have passed the examination.

Almost 866,000 class 12th students have appeared for the exam. Of these, around 463,000 are female and 403,000 are male candidates, including two transgender candidates.

Out of the total 866,000 candidates, 532,000 candidates have appeared in Tamil medium.

Step 1: Go to the official website of Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations at tnresults.nic.in

Step 2: Find the 'Tamil Nadu 12th result 2018' tab.

Step 3: Click on Tamil Nadu 12th result 2018

Step 4: Enter your Roll number

Step 5: Download the Tamil Nadu 12th result 2018
